Naadam Festival
Event Dates: July11-13.

This festival located in Mongolia's capital embodies the nomadic spirit of its people. This festival allows todays people to connect with their heritage in a three day festival which consists of traditional rituals as well as sport. Each year the nomads come from across the land to prove their skills in sports from horseback archery to wrestling. This also serves as a tribute to their long held traditions.
Lake Bical
Best Times: December - May.

Located just north of the boarder in Siberia lies Lake Bical. Holding more than one third the world supply of fresh water some consider it more of an inland sea.
Gobi
Best Times: December - May.

The Gobi has long served as a barrier to the west and a major obstacle on the Silk Road. This ominous landscape burdened in heat and sand has a mysterious sense of life. The people of this region are inviting and love guests. There are many oasis in this sea of sand which are in star contrast to its seemingly desolate landscape.
